Terms & Conditions

Last reviewed February 2026 — version 1.0. This document forms part of the legal framework governing your use of the PEL1 crypto compliance platform.

About these terms

These terms form a legally binding agreement between you (the user) and PEL1 (we / us). By creating an account or otherwise using the PEL1 platform you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms. We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be communicated by email and in-app at least 14 days in advance.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, resident in the United Kingdom (or otherwise subject to UK AML obligations), and have full legal capacity to enter into a contract. You must not be subject to UK or international sanctions and must not use the platform to facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing or any other criminal activity.

Our service

PEL1 provides AML and KYC compliance tooling for individual crypto holders. We help you verify identity, audit on-chain provenance, declare source of funds and produce solicitor-ready AML documentation. We also route crypto-to-GBP conversions through regulated partner exchanges. PEL1 does not provide investment, tax, financial or legal advice; we produce compliance documentation that you and your advisers may rely on.

Fees and payment

The Self-serve tier is free and includes one AML pack per month. Pro and White-glove tiers are charged in advance per the published pricing page. Crypto-to-GBP conversions incur a partner exchange fee of up to 1.2% which is disclosed before you confirm a transaction. All prices include VAT where applicable.

Acceptable use

You must provide accurate, current and complete information. You must not attempt to circumvent identity verification, upload forged documents, share your account with third parties or interfere with the platform's security. We may suspend or terminate accounts found to be in breach without refund.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, PEL1's total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses, nor for the actions or omissions of partner exchanges or your professional advisers.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The English courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, save that you may bring proceedings in your country of residence if you are a consumer.

PEL1 is committed to maintaining and reviewing its legal policies at least annually. Material updates are notified to active customers by email and via in-app notification. If you have feedback on any policy, please contact legal@pel1.example.
